Those are two pre-built Oracle VirtualBox VM appliances. Each of them has a single-instance non-CDB Oracle Database 12c R1 database with ASM on Linux 6.7.
The Oracle 12c Data Guard is configured on them. One of them is the primary database and the other one is the standby database.

Extract the VM zip file to obtain two ova files and this readme file.
In Oraclt VirtualBox (must be of release 6.0.22 or later), click on File -> Import -> select the OVA file and import each vm.
In Oracle VirtualBox, open the settings of each VM and click on the Network option. Make sure the select netword adapter is available in your system.
Start the vms.
