– set “UseDNS no” and “GSSAPIAuthentication no” in /etc/ssh/sshd_config (to fix the delay in the login to the system from Putty)

– disable automatic software updates:
systemctl status packagekit
systemctl stop packagekit
systemctl mask packagekit
